DETAILS ABOUT YOUR 2023–2024 BENEFITS

Each year, we review our program to ensure we’re supporting you and your family with competitive, flexible and affordable benefits. Some of the following changes and enhancements are effective now and others will take effect July 1.

The Green Plan deductible and out-of-pocket maximum will increase in accordance with IRS requirements for embedded deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums.

The Green Plan deductible will be:

In-network Out-of-network
For Employee Only coverage: $3,000 $6,000
For Employee + Children coverage: $3,650 $7,300
For Employee + Spouse coverage: $4,500 $9,000
For Family coverage: $6,000 $12,000

The Green Plan out-of-pocket maximum will be:

In-network Out-of-network
For Employee Only coverage: $4,700 $9,400
For Employee + Children coverage: $5,875 $11,750
For Employee + Spouse coverage: $7,050 $14,100
For Family coverage: $9,400 $18,800
The premiums you pay for medical and dental coverage will increase.

Health care costs continue to rise as health issues increase across the U.S. and right here at Children’s Mercy. That means the cost to provide medical and dental benefits will increase. Children’s Mercy will continue to pay the majority of the cost, and we will make minimal increases to the premiums you pay for medical and dental coverage. Your vision plan premiums will not change for the 2023–2024 plan year.

Medical plan premiums for the Gold, Blue and Green Plans will increase between $1.00 and $16.00 per paycheck, depending on the plan and coverage you elect.

Dental plan premiums for the PPO Plus, Mid PPO and Low PPO Plans will increase between $0.00 and $2.50 per paycheck, depending on the plan and coverage you elect.

Here are your 2023–2024 monthly medical and dental plan costs.
