PET INSURANCE
Team members are eligible to enroll cats, dogs or even birds, reptiles and exotic pets in pet insurance offered through Nationwide, the country’s largest pet insurance provider.
This team member pay-all benefit is available at group preferred pricing, and premiums can be payroll deducted.
Enroll anytime online (for dogs and cats only) or by phone at (877) 738-7874 (for dogs, cats or birds and exotic pets). Enrollment between the 1st and 15th of any month becomes effective on the 1st of the following month; enroll between the 16th and the end of the month for coverage to begin the month thereafter. Payroll deduction begins with the first paycheck after coverage has become effective.
When enrolling, have your Children’s Mercy employee ID number ready, as well as your home and email addresses, phone number and information about your pet – species, breed, age, sex, etc. Rates quoted through the online portal and by phone include the 5% discount.
